About Mutual

Mutual started with a simple frustration: business cards pile up, get lost, and become useless. The people in them deserve better.

We built Mutual to be the rolodex that actually works. Scan a card, AI structures it instantly, and your network grows in a way that's searchable, organized, and alive.

The word "mutual" is doing a lot of work here. Connections should be mutual. When two people meet at a conference and both are on Mutual, both rolodexes should update. That's the product promise, and it's baked in from day one.

What Mutual actually does

Mutual.Cards is built on three ideas working together:

• AI scanning. Point your phone at a paper business card and AI reads it into a structured contact — name, title, company, phone, email — in seconds.
• A digital card that goes everywhere. Your own card lives at a public link and QR code, and can be added to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, so sharing it never depends on carrying paper.
• Two-way updates. When you connect with another Mutual.Cards user, your saved copy of their info stays current automatically as they update their own card — no more stale rolodexes.

Who it's for

Individuals who meet a lot of people — sales, business development, founders, recruiters — use Mutual to replace a drawer of business cards with a live, searchable network. Teams use Mutual for Teams to pool everyone's contacts into one shared, on-brand rolodex.
